Chrome Extension - common questions
Any webpage. It's designed primarily for LinkedIn profiles, but works on any site where candidate information is visible - company team pages, GitHub, personal websites, conference speaker pages.
The candidate is added to your Gigin pipeline. If you have a GIA Loop configured for that role type, Gia initiates the assessment workflow automatically. If not, the candidate sits in your sourced queue for manual review.
The extension requests access to read page content on the sites you visit. It only captures data when you click the extension icon - it does not run in the background.
You select one role per extension click. To add the same candidate to multiple roles, click the extension again and select the second role.
The extension works on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and any web page containing candidate profile information. If a page has a name, contact details, or experience data, the extension can capture and parse it.
Name, contact details, current title, employer, location, education, and experience summary are captured where available. The parsed profile is added directly to the Gigin pipeline without manual data entry.
